Building DreamsFor Immediate ReleasePITTSBURGH, PA Sep 5, 2005 — You can’t turn on the television without surfing through a myriad of reality, make-over, and home improvement shows, and every quirky variation in between. Neatly bridging several contenders in this genre is “Building Dreams”, a new show airing Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM on FOX-53. A thirty minute reality-based, real drama television series, “Building Dreams” will run for thirteen (13) weeks each fall season. The first project will last for thirty-nine (39) weeks or three (3) seasons. Mixing the ‘educate and inform’ fundamentals of shows like “This Old House” with HGTV's "Dream House”-style drama, “Building Dreams” chronicles the experiences of business owners working to construct their dream-come-true properties. In season one, the show shares the story of entrepreneur and show creator Sheila Ecung, president and CEO of ArrowStarr Inc., as she and her team give a small commercial building in the Swissvale neighborhood of Pittsburgh new life as a state-of-the-art multimedia production facility and corporate headquarters for their booming television production company. Working with Architect Max Mavrovic of Mavrovic Architects PC, General Contractor Keith Scheidemantle of Scheidemantle Corporation, Project Manager Ron Dellaria of ASTORINO, Interior Designer Ruth Thompson of New Angle Design, Ken Lovorn and Dave Crossey of Lovorn Engineering, Steve Farris of Farris Structural -- and a team of expert contractors and top quality vendors -- they set out to transform their business and their lives. Lending drama and modest intrigue to each week’s episode is the fact that the ArrowStarr team also happens to be Ecung’s own close-knit family, currently working out of their home, too long overrun with production equipment. They lend their input to create a dream office and studio space, from conception through a seemingly endless stream of construction challenges and, ultimately, to completion. In the end, the “Building Dreams” family regains the sanctity of home and their collective sanity. “Building Dreams” is produced by ArrowStarr Television & Video Productions. It premieres Sunday, Oct. 2, at 11 AM on FOX-53 TV. The first season will conclude on December 25, 2005. ArrowStarr is preparing for national syndication and has approached HGTV and PBS.
